This page describes the information used by the current BiteIn products. It is not a substitute for a final, legally reviewed privacy notice.

Consumer app

When you use a BiteIn account, the app handles authentication details, profile information you choose to provide, saved addresses and preferences, restaurant follows and saved dishes. Ordering uses order and item details, delivery or collection information and order history. Location is used when you choose location-based discovery or delivery features. If you publish a Bite, the app handles your uploaded media and public profile details. Support requests and content reports are also recorded. Usage events include dish views, basket additions, checkout starts and Story views.

BiteIn Orders

Restaurant operations use Owner and team account identity, roles, restaurant and menu information, uploaded media, customer orders and delivery activity. Payout onboarding uses Stripe Connect.

Payments and website enquiries

Payments are processed through Stripe. The Launch Partner form collects the contact and restaurant details you submit so BiteIn can review and respond to your application. The website is therefore not a data-free static page.

Your choices and requests

You can manage account and public-profile settings in the apps. To request account deletion, use the in-app account option or read the account deletion page. For privacy questions, email hello@bitein.co.uk.

Retention rules, lawful bases, international transfers, cookie details and the formal controller identity still require business and legal review before this can serve as the final privacy notice.
